Morning and alert
How rare a combination is that?!
Today is going to be a meeting day from hell at work. Oh well. At least they are meetings that I will be *attending*, as opposed to meetings where I have to present results. Yeah.
Yesterday was a pretty good day. Somewhat stressful on the work-front, but by the time I left the office, all the fires were out, and calmness was returning - yeah! After hitting the House of Pain, I headed over to the Upper Crust meeting to sample historic cooking and snark with friends - ALWAYS a great combination. By the time I got home, I found my husbear on the couch vegging before the newest Six Feet Under. Ugh! Good writing, but SOOOO full of angst. In just the 10 minutes that I caught, I found my shoulders up to my ears. I enjoy the writing, but the characters just stress me out to no end. Fortunately, it balanced out well with Blue Collar TV. I normally don't get into that kind of humor, but I was rolling as they were bragging about each others "great big magnificent decks." SNORT!
