I mean it!!! You've always been funny, a good story-teller, and pretty social in the circles in which you've chosen to run. You've also complained about the wallet being occasionally thin, and here would be one way to merge your social, creative talents into a way of adding a few bucks to the ol' pocket while essentially making your fun expenses into "business expenses", just by saving the receipts. And aren't you a world-class networker?
At the very least, the freelance writing could pay for your fun, making it a win-win all around, and who knows how far it could lead? You may become a syndicated writer one day, or find a passion for writing creatively that you never knew of before.
