I saw Depeche Mode Monday night at Staples, except I managed to get really lucky. I won meet & greet with the band and floor tickets from KROQ. Although in true KROQ fashion, it wasn't meet & greet but more a click & flirt. The band was there with all the winners for maybe 5 minutes. But there's a picture somewhere!
The show was awesome! We were right in the middle of the floor section and the view of the rest of the center was amazing. 18,000 screaming fans and we were in the middle of a group of superfans who had also won. It was just amazing to hear the entire audience singing Enjoy the Silence. The band was just backup at that point.
What a great show. I only wish they'd actually let us meet the band and maybe get an autograph or two...
