Hi world. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

One thing about living in Santa Ana, the winds sure are intense. On the one hand, at least they have blown in some nice desert warmth our way, which is keeping the temperatures in the 60's. On the other hands, at times, it sounds like a tornado outside. This wouldn't be an issue except we live in an old house. What this translates to is window panes that rattle and bang all night long. While I typically don't mind a fun night of rattling and banging, it just isn't fun when it is the windows doing it. Grumble! So, needless to say, I didn't sleep for crap last night.

Now that the cruise is over, I am suffering a bit of post-partum. I miss the fun! I miss sun-bathing! I miss the exotic ports! But most of all, I miss the boyz! We made some really great friends on the cruise, and now I am suffering withdrawal. Thank heavens for email!

Fortunately, it is now the weekend, and I have a light agenda. Tonight - not much of anything other than the House of Pain and a sensible dinner. Tomorrow, I plan to hit the pottery studio, get together with kd_morin for a run-through of our dance demo, hit Gyldenholt Yule in the evening, and then go to a holiday party. On Sunday, I think I will get a jump start on holiday mealplanning and preps. All-in-all, it'll be a nice weekend.
