Why so critical?

Why in the world am I so critical? Hell, I'm far from perfect. What gives me the right to be so freaken' critical of others? Not a damned thing.

I consider myself to have pretty high standards for myself. I admit, I don't cut myself a lot of slack. No room for failure. No room for excuses. That is my choice, and mine alone. Yet, sometimes, I find myself being just as exacting of others. Is that right? Is that fair?

To those of you out there whom I have hurt by being too demanding or too critical, I apologize.
