Yes, I DO realize I do this to myself.

And no, this isn't a complaint to the universe - just a reality-check.

Looking over my "to do" list today, I said to myself, "Holy Sheet! I have a lot to get done." I've always said I would rather by busy than bored. I don't foresee being bored ANY time into the near future.

Last night, my husbear and I met with a financial advisor. Long story short, we decided to give it a shot and hire the guys. Part of me says, "Ya know Joe... they really aren't going to work any strange or foreign magic that we can't do ourselves." But then there is the reality - we WON'T do it ourselves. Hell, I don't even balance my checkbook. I know that I *could*, but I just don't (which is odd for an anal-retentive such as myself).

After our meeting, the gang arrived at the house for Kingdom scriptorium. Chaos-filled though they are, I really LOVE hosting scriptorium. We have such a wealth of talented and creative people. It is exceptionally humlbing.

Now to get through the day, my yoga class, and my workout before heading home to chip away at the "to do list of death." Somewhere in there, I need to pick up some anti-biotics. I think I'm beginning to get my typical summer plague - strep throat. Ugh! No slippin' anybody the tongue for a few days. :-(

I think a balance between bored and busy is better. (heh) It's good to have down time, relaxation time, de-stress time. Even if lots of what you want to do are fun things, putting too much demand on your time and energies isn't good (and may be why you are getting sick). Think about it?
