Monday of soreness

I don't know what it is about Mondays. Is it the cosmic forces at work that make Mondays a horrible thing? Is it the end of the weekend? What exactly IS it that makes Monday a horrible thing?
Today I woke up feeling particularly stiff n' sore. *Probably* is has something to do with me not working out yesterday. Well... that combined with shoulder-hunch from the scriptorium and drinking all day. :-)
All in all, the weekend was really nice. Saturday was Festival of the Rose where my troupe performed a 15th century Italian dance for Her Majesty. I was very, very happy with the performance itself. And the event was very nicely laid back and enjoyable. Following the event, we had our own after-party at E&A's. That was a hoot! Of course, my evil Baroness made me drink far too much. BAD Baroness!
Sunday I woke up and found myself quickly annoyed. I had really wanted to begin my day with a relaxing yoga session in the back yard. No such luck. Construction was happening, and the environment was just not conducive. But, the day improved as I found myself hosting the full-day quarterly scriptorium. We got a lot done, and had wonderful company.
Sunday evening was the nicest part of the weekend, as we found ourselves cruising aboard a yacht around Newport Beach harbor. QUITE nice. We sat on deck, drank, and made snarky comments about all of the multi-multi-million dollar homes around us. We waved to the statues in John Wayne's house, snarked about Buddy Epson's house, etc. It never fails - money does not necessarily buy taste
