Mid-week and feelin' gooooooood

I really don't have a good explanation for it, but I'm in a really great mood this morning.
Today is GORGEOUS outside! After the past few mornings of pea-soup fog, this morning is crisp, moist, but brilliantly sunny and just gorgeous. I feel very alive, and in-tune with everything around me. And my energy is just....
... wait a minute...
(checks lunar calendar)
I am SUCH a McFly! We're on the full moon. DUH! OK, I'm a doof. At least my internal system is wired well.
Last night would have been perfect except that my poor hubby got sick. After work, I went to the store to pick up the ultimate cold cure - cans o' Campbells tomato soup, fixin's for grilled cheese sammiches, and lots of zinc/vitamin C lozenges. For those of you out there who really know me, you KNOW it just kills me to make canned soup and grilled cheese. It is so... so... so....
WRONG! My inner Martha is thinking, "I should be making my own soup using a rich stock and sun-dried tomatos! I should be making the sandwiches with bread that I baked and with fine deli cheeses! OH the HUMANITY!" But, it was what my hubby needed. The rest of the night involved vegging in front of the TV. I gotta admit, I really loved taking a night off - no projects... no responsibilities... just relaxation.
Today - yoga and a good workout. Hopefully my hubby will be feeling better today. We'll see.

You are a McFly!
Date: 2005-11-16 05:39 pm (UTC)As soon as I read your first sentence I knew you were in a good mood because of the full moon! In fact, last night when I saw the full moon I thought to myself "Joe must be loving this." It's sad when your friends can predict your moods better than you. Get with the program! :)
