I need a minute reality-check break from work.

I am entering the results from our annual client survey. I just received one where in the written commentary, the anonymous person identifies that the client for whom the survey is being complete is a 10 year old who is HIV+ and also has Hep. C.

FUCK! Fuck-fuck-fuck-fuck! Damnit!

Sometimes, I just am not strong enough. I need to go for a walk to have a good cry.

Yes you are strong enough. Strong people know when to cry. The fact that a 10 yr old has HIV and HepC sucks. Sometimes the gods do not play fair. Take your walk. Hugs

No, you are not strong enough to handle it all yourself, but you have friends, from Husbear to a certain newly-made Mistress. To me, if it'd help. You're doing something useful about it, at least. That's the one thing that kept me going when I was at APLA some while back.

Just remember -- you're doing something good.

It sucks, believe me I've been there. But at least you're doing something to help.

As for the not strong enough. Kerfluey! Almost everyone involved with the sick, dying, and poor cries at one time or another, albeit in private. Anyone who didn't I would n't want treating me or work alongside with.
