My civic duty
Feb. 6th, 2008 05:34 pmToday, I spent the day in the jury assembly room of the superior court waiting... and waiting... and waiting... to hear my name called to serve on a jury. Once again, I was not called.
The closest I came was this last time around. I was the very last person dismissed from a trial. I actually DO wish to serve on a jury one of these days, and fulfill this important civil obligation. Not this time, though.
Oh well... at least I got to work on the documentation for my Opus Anglicanum, and also read more about 14th century costuming. :-)
