Discombobulated

Wow, I’m out of it this morning - even more than usual for a morning. My brain is in a particularly odd funky place. In my dreams, I found myself as a volunteer, helping out at Finella’s school as a field trip chaperone. We were doing some beach event for a marine biology class. Oh yah… Britney Spears just happened to be in the class. I had to bust her, because I caught her doing drugs with someone else in the class. I’m not gonna argue if any of you think that I’m weird – based on this alone, I would have to agree.
By the time I got to bed last night, I was thoroughly exhausted. After a long and involved workday yesterday, I hit the gym. Doing 30 minutes of intense cardio, I walked down to the yoga studio to face up to “relaxing” in down-dog. When my instructor arrived, she asked us what we wanted to work on. I said, “Balance.” She gave me what I wanted – and it kicked my ass. By the time I got home, I found myself in that blissful state of exhaustion. No pain, per se. Just the feeling of gas tanks being on empty in equal measures. Truth be told, I like that feeling. Balance all around is a good thing. I can’t stand it when I feel physically tired, but my brain is racing, or vice versa. Last night was just right.
Of course… that doesn’t explain the Britney thing. It makes no sense! If I’m gonna obsess over anyone named Spears, it is gonna be Zak… not Britney.
