That is the only way to describe yesterday.  I really was not in a bad mood starting off the day.  But as one thing after another after another after another went wrong at the office, I found myself just infuriated over life, the universe, and everything.  Going to yoga helped a little bit, but for the most part, the day was just awful.

Late in the evening, I walked into the house with my gym bag and yoga mat under one arm, and my other hand holding the dry-cleaning.  Looking over at the coat-rack in the entryway, I could not find a single empty hook for me to hang the dry cleaning.  That was the final straw, and my inner-voice (which sounds amazingly like Joan Crawford) came screaming out…

“eeeeEEeeeEEEEEEEEEYYAAAAAH!  WHY ARE THERE NO EMPTY HOOKS???? ALL I WANT IS ONE EMPTY HOOK TO HANG THINGS UP ON SO THAT I DON’T DROP EVERYTHING TO THE F$*%&ING FLOOR!!!!!

DEATH!!!!!!

DESTRUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHY IS THERE SO MUCH #*%$& ALL OVER THE COAT-RACK?  WE DON’T EVEN USE THIS MANY COATS OR HATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Past history tells me that my inner-Joan would then direct me to survey other things such as the clutter-level on the entry-way hutch, the presentability of the back parlor, each and every common-area room in the house, etc., etc., until eventually I would find myself reorganizing the tool shelves in the garage at half-past midnight.  This split-second internal turmoil led to the all-important question…

“Joe,” I asked myself.  “When’s the last time you took your med’s?”

OOPS!  I kinda-sorta forgot to take any meds since last week.  I didn’t think there was a noticeable difference.  Snork!  Silly me.

If it is any consolation, I am having a mild nervous breakdown over having to rip out 3 inches of knitting because I reversed a cable braid. I am having difficulty concentrating on work because I don't want to have to attempt to correct it on the bus commute home tonight. I want to stop and correct it now.

However - it is good that you recognized that something "Wasn't Quite Right".

Hope you are feeling better.

There's nothing wrong with a good nuclear melt-down from time to time. Glad to hear your bad day is over. Happy Tuesday! Hugs.
