A Letter to Mother Nature

Dear Mother Nature,

 

I know that you must be very busy, so I will try to keep this brief. 

 

Would you PLEASE kindly make up your mind??? I mean, record-breaking heat wave one day, temperatures plummeting to the low 40’s the next - what’s with that? Just like a Billy Joel lyric, you are frequently kind, and then suddenly cruel. Is it the global warming? Is it the wrath of some vengeful god (insert name here)? Or are you bored and just wanting to shake things up a bit? For what it is worth, I try to do my part. I recycle. I walk whenever feasible. I tend to our garden. In short, I really try to limit that carbon footprint. So how ‘bout cutting us all a little slack and making some consistent temperatures? What’s this? We’re supposed to be in the mid 70’s by the end of the week? 

 

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I share your sentiment. Monday and Tuesday the high was around 35. Today the temperature was in the 60s. It is supposed to snow in the morning.
