Sheesh! What a week! Maybe it is because the office has been relatively quiet this week, but my non-office hours have been even fuller than normal. The most time that I actually spent home was on Wednesday night when I got home at around 8:15, tired after yoga. Between workouts and guild meetings, this week has been used, abused, and hung up to dry. And will the weekend see much rest? Um… no. Saturday morning, furniture moving, followed by a home tour in San Diego, followed by a party on Saturday night. Soooooo looking forward to Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! Aside from a workout, I just wanna stay home and putter. I have gardening that needs doing, and some painting projects. Not go mention, oh gee, just spending time with my hubby.

On the one hand, I MUCH prefer being productive, and busy to not having anything to do other than listen to the tick-tick-tick of the clock. But sometimes, I wish I had just one extra evening where the world would just stop.

Hmmmm… I guess I’m just never satisfied. Le Sigh.

Sitting back with your feet up and doing nothing is nice for, oh, about THAT long, OK, done now, got interesting things to do...
Recently, in order to minimize some of the nastier side effects of my current chemo, I've had to sit around and do NOTHING for two days at a time, following my once-every-three-weeks treatment. I can read, watch TV, listen to music, do minimal keyboarding, walk between the bed, bathroom, couch. Can't cook, braid, garden, cut out fabric, sew, go for a walk, exercise; you get the picture. It's making me bat-shit crazy, I am far too hyper for that sort of thing.

Actually, just having somebody understand that it's a real crazy-maker when you have to be a sloth and that's not who you are, helps a lot.
Now, if you find yourself in my neighborhood and want to volunteer as a bobbin minion, I'd love you forever.
Oh heck--I already love you forever--you and your husband both.

Hey there. My minion Maluchka and I have hatched a dastardly plan. We want to come up and stay at your house sometime (she needs to see your awesome house) for the purpose of trying out some dances together. You and Giles are both lords; Maluchka and I are both ladies whose partners more-or-less don't dance. If we all get together, we could be dance partners and do great things - muahaha! Like the Bella Gioiosa I keep talking about (although that's for three dancers). Also, Maluchka wants to introduce Giles to something invented long ago in the Barony of Jararvellir called the Knock-Down Drag-Out Bransle. (I just taught it to her this week.) What say you?

I think that would be a GREAT idea! Let's make it work!

BTW, I just checked my phone and got your message. I will email you.
